1) Kids Fiesta Holiday Adventure

WHAT Get respite from the scorching heat by revelling in indoor fun ― jump on a bouncy castle, get busy in a kid’s gym, pick up magic tricks or mould objects in a mess-free magic sand pit — yay, no need to bring a change of clothes! 2) Spartan Junior Race Roadshow

WHAT Your tykes will enjoy the adrenaline-pumping challenge of taking part in a five-obstacle course that’ll give them a taste of what the fun Spartan Junior Race has to offer! Cheer them on as they carry sandbags, flip tyres and find their balance on a beam. And if they are among the first 200 kids to complete the circuit, they’ll receive a cool Spartan Junior wristband and a $10 Reebok voucher! Suitable for kids from 4 to 13 years of age. WHAT Learning through play is serious business at KidZania, where kids rehearse for their future careers in an all-kids empire! Encourage junior to dream big and take on the roles of pilot, newspaper journalist or actor. Inquisitive kids will love cracking cases as a crime-scene investigator! 4) Laser Ops

WHAT Get tactical and challenge your kids to a thrilling laser tag competition to outlast, outwit and outplay each other (in a friendly manner, of course). Watch out and dodge “mines” and “bullets” to gain control of your opponent’s corner! Then, up the ante with a spouse versus children match and throw in a reward for the winners! Each player will have to don a safety vest, which comes with speakers and six vibration points — these work to simulate the sensations when one is being shot without the blood. Trainers will be on hand to ensure gameplay goes on without a hitch and change things up with various missions. Only those aged 7 and above can participate.

5) South East Asia (S.E.A) Aquarium 

WHAT Let your imagination run wild as you take in the submerged vistas filled with underwater sea creatures at the Open Ocean section of the aquarium. Keep your eyes peeled as gentle giants like the leopard shark, saw fish and manta rays glide right past. Let junior get up close with the moray eels when they crawl into a kid-sized entrance and look up through a glass dome! Then pop over to the Ocean Restaurant and feast on delectable dishes created by Cat Cora, Singapore’s first Iron Chef.

6) Adventure Cove Waterpark 

WHAT Hop on a float with junior and take on the wild twists, turns and unexpected dips on each of the waterpark’s thrilling rides. Start at the Tidal Twister, hold on tight as your float navigates the unpredictable swirls and curves before splashing out into the cool open waters of the pool! Children shorter than 122cm must be accompanied by a supervising adult.

7) Trick Eye Museum

WHAT If your tween is an Instagram wannabe, they’ll adore a visit to this destination where selfies are necessary! This “4D” museum uses optical illusions to create memorable photographs to tickle you when you look back. The different installations range from the awe-inspiring supernatural-themed levitation installation or the fantasy-laden fairytale installation (you could be “whisked away” on the back of the motorbike driven by a big bad wolf!).
