Fun, cheap ways to celebrate New Year!

Seeing in the New Year with the little one may be tricky, here are some activities for the whole fam!

Parents-Fun ways to celebrate the New Year (some are free!)

1. A party with family friends
If none of your friends are throwing a New Year’s Eve party this year, organise one yourself! If the gang brings their kids along, the adults can have a get together while the little ones have their playtime. You can prepare games and snacks for the little ones — see our free party games story!  Take turns in refereeing the little mob… With the countdown party lasting later into the night than usual, prepare sleepover plans for bubs — section off an area for quiet time or naps, playing a favourite TV show with the sound very quiet.

Countdown at Foam Party on Ice!
Take the not-so-little-tots down to Jurong for a countdown experience on the ice. Enjoy three hours of skating, as well as a foam party as you all get ready for the New Year!

New Year Spectacular Countdown at Clarke Quay
Your kids will love this circus-themed countdown party in Clarke Quay! The audience gets to play exciting stage games with hosts DJs Justin Ang & Vernon A from Mediacorp CLASS 95 Muttons in the Morning. The family can groove along to tunes by local acts like 53A.

3.  Fireworks
Completely free of charge, feast your eyes on the annual fireworks display. Some great places for viewing the skyborn explosions are Marina Barrage, The Merlion Park, Gardens by the Bay and The Promontory.
