Need a DIY craft idea easy enough so the kids can pitch in? If you’ve got some craft paper and ear studs lying around, you can create this simple, yet stylish, jewellery dish in a jiffy.

It’s family team effort all the way since junior can help pick out the foam craft paper in his or her favourite colours; using a pencil and ruler to lay out the measurements; cutting the edges (with parental supervision, of course) and folding them into the right shape.

When you’re done, use the finished product to remind your kiddo to keep her collection of earrings, trinkets and wristlets in one place so she won’t misplace them.
