Seems like everything the former US President touches turns into gold, including this collection of letters he pens for his daughters, Sasha, 16, and Malia, 19. Using poetic language, feminist dad Barack Obama, 56, pays tribute to 13 outstanding Americans, from Georgia O'Keeffe to George Washington. He suggests all the characteristics of these heroes are present in every child, including his own. “Have I told you that you are creative?”, “Have I told you that you are an explorer?”, “Have I told you that America is made up of people of every kind?”. The only thing more breath-taking than the message are the illustrations by Loren Long, especially the cover which shows the Obama girls walking their beloved dog Bo.
