Les Misérables
is a much loved blockbuster musical based on Victor Hugo’s classic novel. It has been seen by over 70 million people worldwide in different countries and languages.

Les Misérables is the story of Jean Valjean, a prisoner who breaks parole and the police inspector, Javert, who never stops his chase. Valjean who later changed his identity to Monsieur Madeleine, eventually became a factory owner and the mayor. One of her worker, Fantine, was resorts to prostitution to pay money for her daughter, Cosettes’ medical bills. On Fantine’s death bed, Valjean promises her to care for Cosette.

A war veteran called Marius, falls for Cosette but their lives were disrupted again and again by the battles of the post-French Revolution.
