Planning your sweetie’s birthday bash can be stressful. You want your little one to have an incredible time, yet you’ll have to balance the budget while meeting all your party’s needs like catering, an awesome birthday cake, decorations and exciting entertainment.
Fret no more. We’ve tracked down unique birthday venues in Singapore that junior and their guests will remember fondly for many years to come.

1. An indoor playground party
It’s got all the frills and thrills to keep little ones entertained, plus, there’s usually a package deal that includes playtime, invitation cards, goodie bags and even catering for your guests. Check out the party packages at Polliwogs (three locations, including #03-12 VivoCity, 1 Harbourfront Walk, 6376- 8097) ― they start at $588 for up to 10 kids, and include a fully- decorated private party room for 2 hours, with refreshments for the kids, a party host who’ll conduct games and the cake-cutting ceremony, as well as a special gift for the birthday child. 2. A petting and feeding party
Is junior an animal lover? Mark his special day at The Animal Resort, a charming little farm located at 81 Seletar West Farmway 5, 6482-1160. The kiddos can get up close and personal with various animals including geese, peacocks, bunnies and guinea fowl, or feed the fish at the ponds. There’s also a horse, named Pin Number, who would gladly chow down on carrots or hay, straight from your hands. Entry to the farm is free, while animal feed costs $2 for three packets. 3. A football party
Don those Manchester United or Liverpool jerseys on when you book your kiddo’s birthday party at The Premier Pitch, 200 Turf Club Road, Plot 9, 6466-8211. Your little guy and his pals will have an awesome time kicking balls in the indoor “fieldturf” pitches, rain or shine! Prices for birthday packages start at $159 (off peak) for a small pitch for an hour ($50 more for every additional hour), and include a carton of isotonic drinks and a carton of mineral water. 4. A jump party
Your Energizer Bunny will have the best time, bouncing around at Katapult, an indoor trampoline park at #01-11, 81 Lorong Chencharu, 6754-5188. From $450, 15 children can jump on the trampolines for an hour, plus get access to a fully-decorated party room along with a trained marshall who will supervise the jumpers as well as serve as the party host. 5. A pirate ship water play party
If junior can’t get enough of outdoorfun in the sun and water play, let him celebrate his next birthday at the Palawan Pirate Shipin Sentosa! The kids will love the many tipping buckets, slides and water features, plus its location next to Palawan Beach means that they’ll enjoy sand play as well. The Little Explorers party package starts at $599++ for 15 kids and 15 adults, and includes the use of the party cove tent, catered food and a surprise gift for the birthday boy or girl. 6. A role-playing party
Plan to splurge on the birthday boy or girl? Go the whole hog with a birthday party at Kidzania, at #01-01 Palawan Kidz City, 31 Beach View. First, choose a birthday theme, such as Chika Zupermodel or Bache the Secret Agent, pick a package, then leave it all to the Kidzania party specialists. Opt for the Kool KidZ party at $1,388, and you can use a uniquely themed party room for an hour, engage in a telematch for the kids and adults at The Stadium, and the birthday celebrant gets a C’est Moi makeup session, among other things. The package includes admission for junior, seven kids and eight adults, a party host and set meals for 16 people. 7. An arty party
Give your mini-Picasso the party of her dreams at Art Boot Camp, which has locations at #02-14 The Green Block @ The Old Fire Station, 272 Upper Bukit Timah Road and Tree Lizard Restaurant & Bar at #B1-01, 25 Dempsey Road. A basic artjamming party package costs $800 for up to 15 kids, and includes art stations where each kid will create a masterpiece to take home. Catering is also available at both locations. 8. A Lego lover’s party
Does your little one love those sturdy Lego bricks? Then they’ll will have a blast at Children’s Worklab’s Lego parties! Pick from three themes ― Car Racing, Sumo Battle or Medieval, and in no time, the little ones will be busy working on their Lego projects, plus doing other fun activities. Priced from $1,090 for a maximum of 15 kids, the birthday package includes a party host to lead the games and organise the kids, as well as conduct the cake cutting ceremony. Staff members will also help the kids assemble their blocks for the Lego projects. While food is not included in the package, there’ll be party bags for all the kids. 9. A cooking party
Let your sweetie whip up her favourite foods at the Lil’ ToTT Cooking & Baking Party at ToTT@Dunearn, at 01-01A, 896 Dunearn Road, 6219-7077. At $55++ per child, junior and her friends will whip a cooking and baking storm over two hours, preparing yummies like burgers, shepherd’s pie, red velvet cupcakes and brownies. Later, of course, they’ll devour the feast they’ve just prepared! Goodie bags are also available for the little ones ($12++ each). 10. A McDonald’s party
This venue needs no introduction as it’s an oldie but a goodie. We bet your little one’s face will light up when you tell him that he’s going to celebrate his birthday at the Golden Arches! McDonald’s birthday parties are tons of fun and awesome for parents, since they take care of everything, from the party host, to decorations, game prizes, goodie bags and party food. A minimum booking for 15 guests is required ― it costs $12 per guest for indoor parties. Most McDonald’s locations have a dedicated party room, but we like the one at Ang Mo Kio Town Garden West and the one at Kallang (Stadium Boulevard), because they have large padded play areas the kids will enjoy! 11. A Bird Park party
Throw junior a party to remember at the Jurong Bird Park (2 Jurong Hill)! The Chirpy Birthday party package, which costs $1,298 for 20 kids and 10 adults, and includes admission to the Bird Park (and water play at the Birdz of Play water playground!), 1 tram ride, reservation of show seats for The High Flyers Show at the Pools Amphitheatre, with the main party and cake cutting held at Bongo Burgers. 12. A beauty makeover party
Treat your girly girl and her gal pals to a makeover party at Curly & Spike (#02-14 UE Square, 81 Clemenceau Avenue, 6733-9298)! Great for kids aged 4 to 14, pick from themes like Princess Parties, Dazzling Divas, or Rock Stars and enjoy unique styling stations where the kiddos will be styled as well as enjoy a makeover. 13. A crafting party
If your mini-creator loves doing art-and-craft works, they’ll totally dig a party at EatPlayLove Cafe! Party packages start at $25 per person (minimum of 25 pax), and you can add décor packages (from $50), a candy table package ($550), and a birthday cake package ($300). Of course, the highlight would be the kid’s craft corner that boasts various craft kits for eachild, and access to colouring materials, ribbons, crepe paper and so on. This costs $5 a child. 14. An outdoor adventure party
Does junior go bananas when he’s kept indoors for too long? Let him unleash his wild side at the Forest Adventure Tree Top Course on his next birthday! For $960, he can invite 20 kids and get exclusive access to the Kid’s Course for an hour. The package comes with a dedicated instructor, a themed birthday cake and candles, and water and fruit juice, so that stays ace for everyone to keep hydrated! 15. A wet and wild party
Have a splashing good time at your sweetie’s next shindig when you book a party package at Wild Wild Wet (1 Pasir Ris Close, 6581-9128). The package ($799) includes admission for 15 kids to the water park, where they will be thrilled by the huge variety of water slides and water rides available. Older kids may want to try rides like the Four-lane KrakenRacer (competitive mat racing slides) and the TurboTwister, a high speed enclosed body slide. Littler ones whoop it up at the Kidz Zone where there are pint-sized versions of the larger rides, as well as shallow wading areas with water jets.
