Singapore will be celebrating her 52nd birthday this year, and if this National Day Parade (NDP) is anything like last year’s, you’ll be assured of a good time. It promises to be a night to remember with exciting highlights such as an aerial performance, an unmanned drone performance and the return of The Dynamic Defence Display after two years.

If you didn’t manage to score tickets to the Marina Bay Floating Platform, don’t fret. You might not be sitting at the platform, but you can still catch the amazing fireworks display that crowns every parade! Just head on down to some of these places after a day out with your little ones. Or if you like, pack a picnic basket, put on the SPF, then make your way there early to chope your spot, since most of these are outdoor places.

Although the pyrotechnics will only start at about 8.10pm, but we advise that you arrive early as there will be tons of other people with the same aim of catching the spectacular fireworks display, too.

However, if you prefer a less noisy view, do check out the Bay East Garden! This hidden gem is not as well-known as Bay South Garden, but the sights it offers will not be lacking in any way. The Helix Bridge
