Bored? Plan a quick trip to our eco-destinations — you and junior can learn to save the world and have FUN.
We all know that little children learn best through play — so teach your child about saving the environment both by making it a fun activity at home and by bringing junior out on excursions to these great destinations where they can learn about the environment!
Says mum-of-two, owner and Chief Play Designer at The Language Playhouse, Eugenia Koh, even a simple visit to the zoo can be turned into a great learning experience: “My daughter has asked me about poaching of rhinos and tigers, information which she has picked up from the posters and videos while at the zoo.”
And since it’s Singapore, if you need to take a (literal) rain check on heading out, you could still teach your mini-me about saving the earth by getting crafty. Make your own play dough or decorate a jar to keep junior’s toys.
