This spacious all-day dining restaurant boasts floor-to-ceiling glass windows that let in plenty of natural light. Seasonal Tastes is also spacious enough to accommodate large families, apart from offering kids the perfect spot to run about in and explore.
Best of all, you’ll be wowed by the incredible Marina Bay area view that greets you when you step foot in the eatery on the 32nd floor of The Westin Singapore.
Your young ’uns would love spotting landmarks such as the Singapore Flyer, the Singapore Sports Hub and the Art Science Museum while you check out what the restaurant has to offer.
We were there for the Sunday Family Lunch buffet, which serves international cuisine, as well as local favourites.
You’ll feast on the freshest seafood (hello crab claws, raw oysters and lobsters!), sushi and sashimi, cook to order pastas and noodles, plus there’s a “live” carving station, as well roasts and grilling stations.
Make sure you leave room for dessert because we loved the selection here. Satisfy your sweet tooth with an array of cakes, puddings, tartlets and macarons, as well as nonya kueh if you prefer your sweet treats local.
The little ones will naturally make a beeline for the chocolate fountain, while you must try the avocado gelato. The buttery goodness of the sweet and refreshing fruit makes this frozen treat a pure delight.

Now for the main reason why this restaurant scores top marks on the kid-friendly scale.
Seasonal Tastes sets up an adorable kid’s corner every Sunday, which includes fun activities, as well as a pint-sized mini-buffet for the munchkins (though they’re welcome to chow down at the main buffet, too!).
Parents, rest assured that there’ll be healthy pickings for your little ones ― we spied kid-friendly fare like sandwiches, cheesy pasta, plus, veggie dips for the kiddos. They even offer a selection of bottled milk and yoghurt, much to the delight of my kids.
When you need to kick back and relax, your little ones can busy their hands at the cupcake-decorating station. Everything is provided ― the cupcake base, different shades of icing, and a hug array of toppings. They’ll even get to don a chef’s hat and apron!
Once that’s done, your little ones will while away the rest of the lazy afternoon happily with colouring sheets and an activity booklet that The Westin thoughtfully provides. There’s no doubt that this is a buffet that’s been designed with the kids ― and parents ― in mind!
So, if you’re looking for a leisurely Sunday lunch with the fam, Seasonal Tastes might just be the ticket. The Sunday Family Lunch is available from noon to 3pm. It costs $58++ per adult, and $29++ per child (4 to 12 years). Kids under 4 dine free.
