Planning to enjoy a meal out with your brood, but aren’t sure on where to go? We’ve rounded up restaurants where your little one eats free!

 

Some of these places even feature kid’s corners, big outdoor spaces, as well as other activities that will keep your active tot occupied, so that you and your spouse can dine in peace. But even without these amenities, it’s tough to turn down a free meal!

BRUSSELS SPROUTS

WHAT This family-friendly restaurant serves Belgian cuisine and boasts a diverse menu that offers everything, including plates for meat lovers, or if you’re simply craving a bowl of greens. Kids under age 9 get a free meal from the menu’s Kiddie Eat section with every order from the Big Eats or Mussels and Clams section. Although this promotion is available daily, stop by with your child on Sunday and he can make a beeline for the bouncy castle!

CAFÉ MELBA

WHAT Known for their all-day breakfast and relaxing ambience, the 120-seat Café Melba is the perfect spot for a family brunch, afternoon tea, or a peaceful dinner. Bring your little one on Monday and he’ll eat free if a main meal is ordered. To entertain little ones, a bouncy castle is set up from 3pm, while an art-and-craft corner is available from 5pm to 8pm, so they can get creative. If you collect all 10 stamps, your kid becomes a member of the Kids Gold Club, where he will receive perks such as a free kid’s meal every visit.

SEOUL GARDEN

WHAT Halal-certified Seoul Garden, which has outlets all over Singapore, is the go-to place for many with a yen for a Korean buffet or food! If your kiddo is under 4 years, visit any outlet on Sunday and you’ll enjoy yummy Korean dishes even as junior dines free (with every paying adult). What are you waiting for? Head to the nearest outlet for if you need an eat-all-you-can fix!

PLONK

WHAT PLONK is a tapas and pizza wine bar serving affordable eats made from fresh produce. Their à la carte menu also boasts a wide selection, while junior eats free with every main meal ordered every Sunday between 4pm and 7pm. Do note, however, that tapas orders are not eligible for the kid’s dine free offer.

WHAT At first glance, The Bank Bar + Bistro looks more like a place to unwind and have drinks after a long day at work, instead of an eatery you’d bring your family to chow down at on weekends. However, looks, as they say, can be deceiving. This bistro and bar offers a Kids Eat Free promotion every weekend and public holiday, where kids ages 4 to 10 will enjoy a free meal from the kids menu with every main course/pasta/sandwich/salad ordered! This is also when they’ll make available a playroom for the younger ones open until 9.30pm.

WHAT If you are a fan of ribs, Morganfield’s is the place for you. Enjoy their warm southern hospitality and signature Sticky Bones spare ribs smoked over hickory wood and covered in a sweet and flavourful BBQ sauce. If you have a kiddo below 8 years, visit them over the weekends or on public holidays and he gets to eat for free with every main meal ordered!

O’COFFEE CLUB

WHAT O’Coffee Club might be better known for their coffee, but did you know that they also offer yummy and filling meals? Kids aged 12 and below can pick a complimentary meal from the kid’s menu, which was updated recently to include three new dishes, all day, every day! Just order an item from the all-time favourite sandwich or pasta menu and your little chomper eats free.

SWENSEN’S

WHAT Children love going to Swensen’s for a meal because they know this means they can get delicious ice cream for dessert! This aside is not the only reason to love dining at Swensen’s. They have a Kids-Eat-Free promotion as well! If you have a little sprout aged 4 to 12 years old, check out the nearest branch on weekends or public holidays from 8am to 11am to enjoy a free kid’s breakfast with every order of an adult breakfast meal. Do note that Weekend Breakfast is available at all branches except for Bukit Panjang Plaza, City Square Mall, Ion Orchard and Plaza Singapura.

WHAT You will be spoilt for choice at Smokey’s BBQ. Not only do they barbecue ribs, they also serve salmon fillet, smoked fish, chicken leg and beef from 11am to 3pm on the weekends ― all smoked and slow roasted. Their wood chips, décor, cooking equipment, and even Executive Chef are flown in from the US to ensure that you get the full American experience. Plus, you won’t have to worry about your kid complaining about being hungry here. Their serving sizes are huge, and will definitely be enough to satisfy your mini-muncher. Kids under 10 years get a free meal with every adult meal ordered.

WHAT Check out Peperoni Pizzeria with your family and friends. Whether you are a seafood lover or a vegetarian, they boast a wide variety of toppings that will surely please everyone,. They also have pastas and other mains if pizza just isn’t your thang or you don’t feel like having pizza. Currently they have a TGIF, Family Day promotion every first Friday of the month. With every two paying adult, kids aged 12 and below can order a free kid’s meal. So, hurry down there with your family!
