Chen Jia Wen, mum to Benji, 2, has used this shampoo for a year. “Benji has eczema and I use Cetaphil products because it’s really gentle on his skin. This shampoo is really good – it doesn’t make his scalp itch, and his hair feels very clean.”

The formula simulates Vernix, a waxy and protective moisturising layer found on newborn babies, as well as lipids and ceramide to maintain supple and hydrated skin. It’s free from harmful substances like parabens, formaldehyde and alcohol.
PARENTS SAY The Newborn Pure range of Pigeon products are slightly pricey but worth it, since they are extremely delicate on bubba’s skin. “I used to use Pigeon’s regular range, but since I found this range, I won’t look back. PARENTS SAY We love the refreshing scent of orange and lemon oils. However, it’s not easy to find on shelves here, and it’s quite expensive.
WHAT A safe and effective shampoo for the whole family, Biolane Gentle shampoo cleans and helps untangle your baby’s fine hair at the same time. It’s formulated to minimise the risk of allergies, and is enriched with honey to make combing easier.
PARENTS SAY We absolutely adored how this shampoo makes bubba’s hair smell after a bath. The hair feels clean and smooth and easy to manage. We just wished that it came with the pump – the squirt bottle often causes too much to be squeezed out at a time.
